Sex is all about pleasure and sometimes, adding a little twist to it makes it even more exhilarating. But our sexual experiments have the potential to go horribly wrong if proper care isn’t taken. We’ve rounded up three situations when sex can get dangerous.
Giving road head
Sex in the back of a stationary car is one thing. But if you take things to another level and try to go down on your partner while he/she is driving, you could get into a lot of trouble. As exciting as it sounds, giving road head can cause accidents (no surprises there) and/or injury to yourself and your partner.
Using a common sex toy
Using a sex toy on yourself and then immediately on your partner can lead to the transmission of STIs. It’s always a good idea to get tested for sexually transmitted diseases and share sex toys only if both of you are in the clear. However, it’s advisable to cover the toy with a condom and use a fresh one if you want to use it on your partner. Also, make sure you clean your toys after every use.
Trying out bondage
Tying up your man and then having your way with him can be really hot. But you must check with him every once in a while if he’s feeling okay. Losing blood circulation to a limb isn’t fun and you need to check for signs like numbness or tingling. Make sure that the knots you tie are easy to get out of, and use soft materials like silk ties or scarves instead of rope.
