Being a social media freak, you sure may have across videos where people are jumping out of their cars to dance to the tunes of Drake’s hip-gyrating number ‘In My Feelings’ from his ‘Scorpion’ album. Well, they are taking up the Kiki challenge, keeping in mind that the song’s lyrics read as “Kiki do you love me?”.

As part of the #KikiChallenge or #InMyFeelingsChallenge, you have to jump out of your running car and dance away. Social media users around the world are taking the challenge.

Interestingly, Drake was not the one who propelled the crazy challenge. Shiggy, the internet comedian, was the first one to post a video on June 30 that showed him dancing on the streets to the Canadian rapper’s track. Thus, the challenge is, also, named as #ShiggyChallenge or #DoTheShiggy. Yet, Shiggy’s video did not feature any car.

After a couple of days, the NFL star, Odell Beckham Jr, took up the challenge and danced to the song’s tunes after stepping out of his vehicle – that was stationary.

Then, Will Smith joined in the fun too, as he was seen atop a bridge in Budapest, dancing to the song’s tunes.

To get the #Kiki challenge right, check the following video (practice at your own risk).

When gone wrong, you could land up like the girl in this video

Well, several countries around the world are warning against the trend. So, you could land up in jail or hospital bed if you are thinking of attempting the challenge.

In India, police teams are using wit to dissuade people from taking up the Kiki challenge. And, god forbid, if found taking a shot at the challenge in Abu Dhabi, you may face imprisonment or have to cough up a fine.

In Dubai, you will be held for violating traffic norms if performing the challenge. You may have to contend with fines of DH 2,000 for following the dangerous trend. Also, your vehicle could be impounded for 60 days or so.

In the US, people are being cautioned by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) about the dangerous nature of the ongoing challenge. And if seen dancing in the middle of the road in Spain, then charges may be pressed against you too.

Point to Note: Kiki, do you love me? Are you riding? Say you’ll never ever …..Hop out of a running car.
